Stephen S. Strick is a well-known and respected Alternative
Dispute Resolution Specialist, with over twenty years
of experience as an arbitrator and mediator.
In 1983, Mr. Strick was appointed to the Entertainment Panel of the American Arbitration Association (that panel was subsequently incorporated into the AAA Commercial Panel). He is also a neutral on the Arbitration Panel of the American Film Market Association (currently known as “AFMA”) and has recently been named one of only 10 appointees to the Federal Communications Commission Panel of the AAA. Mr. Strick has worked on numerous Large and Complex Arbitrations -- including Large/Complex cases -- in the Entertainment, Media, Telecommunications and Licensing, Medical, Financial and other industries.
Mr. Strick has also worked as an
attorney in private practice, a
studio legal and business affairs
executive, and film
and television producer at such firms
and companies as United Artists Corporation,
Loeb & Loeb,
HBO, Dino DeLaurentiis Corporation
and DeLaurentiis Entertainment Group.
He was also elected a senior executive
and board member of publicly traded
color visual effects company, CST Entertainment,
Inc.
Mr. Strick was educated at Stanford
University, The University of California’s
Hastings College of the Law as well
as Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Mr. Strick is a member of the American
Bar Association, the New York Bar,
The Association of the Bar of the City
of New York, and the Executive Branch
of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences and has volunteered his
time, resources and services for numerous
charities and organizations including
the International League of Human Rights,
the American Film Institute, Counseling
West and others. |
